The engine in the new Nissan Rogue has a lot more muscle than the outgoing model’s 181-horsepower engine. Now, you’re treated to 201 horsepower from its 1.5-liter three-cylinder engine, along with 225 lb-ft of torque. That power is sent to your choice of front-wheel or all-wheel drive via a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT).

As a result, this new Nissan SUV has excellent handling and power. However, it’s also highly efficient. Front-wheel drive models get an EPA-estimated 30 MPG in the city, and 37 MPG on the highway.

Interior
