Color is a deeply personal choice for car owners. Nearly 60 percent of consumers identified color as a major factor in their vehicle-buying decisions, according to recent automotive research conducted by PPG. Nissan car buyers are attracted to color as well as style, interior design, technology, and safety. At its showroom, the sales force at Bedford Nissan will be happy to show customers the difference between shades of white or black or blue selections in its new Nissan inventory.
The Nissan brand, like other auto manufacturers, works with firms, such as PPG, to help develop distinctive colors to enhance its future vehicles. This past year, more than 60 exterior shades were introduced by PPG to manufacturers for consideration in its 2018-2019 model year vehicles. These shades included a mix of dazzling bright hues with the layered effects of tinted clears and tri-coats; subdued hues such as foliage greens as well as copper and brass metal tones; traditional colors such as dark, dramatic jewel tones and blackened metal shades; and pastel tones with slightly more color as interpreted in metallic whites, mint greens, anodized gold/beige tones and sky blues.
Like the brilliant shades of the autumnal woods in northeast Ohio, the Nissan brand offers a variety of striking color choices for its automobiles. Customers at Bedford Nissan have a variety of color choices with the 2017 Nissan Altima. It is being offered in Java Metallic, Brilliant Silver, Gun Metallic, Super Black, Cayenne Red, Pearl White, Glacier White, Deep Blue Pearl, and Storm Blue. Midnight Jade and Arctic Blue are two additional shades on the 2016 Nissan Rogue.
It’s important for Nissan engineers and designers to continually research and select the right color and look for each specific brand because it’s so important to Bedford Nissan customers.
